EMPLOYEE STANDARDS OF CONDUCT: GIFTS AND SOLICITATIONS		DHA (R)
	School personnel shall use purposeful tact in discouraging students, parents, or the Student Activity Fund organizations from presenting them with gifts of value, whether individually or as a group project. The writing of letters expressing gratitude or appreciation to staff members shall be considered more appropriate. The provisions herein shall not be construed as intended to discourage acts of generosity in an unusual situation pending approval of the Superintendent.
