The Attendance Officer is a liaison between the District and the juvenile court authorities in matters pertaining to student attendance.  He/She works collaboratively with campus personnel, parent, and the community to foster improved student attendance and enhance student achievement.

The Attendance Officer makes home visitations to verify residences, guardianships, investigate suspected violations of the state's compulsory attendance law and counsel with parents and student to prevent and remedy truancy situations. The Attendance Officer will pursue appropriate courses of action in instances of noncompliance with attendance laws.
