Walzem celebrates Fiesta

Keeping up with the Fiesta tradition, Walzem brought Fiesta to their community on April 24, 2008. Night In Old Walzem included a variety of events such as a Rey Feo contest, a shoe box parade and family fun activities. This year’s Rey Feo and Grand Marshall for the Shoe Box Parade was Walzem’s Family Specialist Carlos Gutierrez. |
Family Specialist Carlos Guitierrez beat out other male teachers and assistant principal in the race for Rey Feo. Students voted for him by casting pennies in the jar representing their favorite candidate.
