NEISD latin club students compete in summer contest


The Churchill, Madison and Reagan High School Latin Clubs attended the 2008 National Junior Classic League from July 29 through August 2 at the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Close to 1,500 students from across the country competed in a wide variety of activities, seminars and competitions.

"I do whatever I can to help prepare our students," said Randy Thompson, Churchill Latin teacher. "But the work is done on their own time--they're pretty amazing.

Churchill students brought back the following awards:
