Teams of students from Garner, Jackson, Harris, White and Wood middle schools recently competed in the Texas Quiz Show Regional Competition on April 12, 2008. Jackson Middle School placed second in the competition and will advance to the State Texas Quiz Show in Austin. The Jackson students will compete on May 3 at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. Harris Middle school placed fourth and Garner Middle School received Honorable Mention.

The Texas Quiz Show Regional Competition is a quiz-style competition where teams of students from the South Texas region compete and test their knowledge of the State of Texas. For more information on this competition, contact Laura Cooper at lcoope@neisd.net.
