Madison High School Seniors Ashley and Ashton Ruiz won the high school category in the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) jingle contest. Due to their success, Madison High School will now receive $10,000 worth of musical equipment courtesy of Gibson Guitar and Epiphone.

The students are twins and wrote and recorded the jingle for the contest, which was judged by the Texas Recording Academy. TxDOT will use the jingle to promote their campaign, Put Texas in Your Corner, which gets Texans to register their vehicles.
  
"We feel blessed that the Texas Recording Academy has selected our jingle as the winner," said the twins. "Go Mavericks!"
