The MacArthur High School Science Team won second place in the UIL State Academic competition in May. The Science Team members are James Carpenter, Jordan Schermerhorn, Eunjin Suh and Erin Walsh.  Carpenter also won first place overall individual, first place chemistry and second place biology - bringing home four medals. 

"[The students] were already planning for next year on the ride home," said Danya Martin, MacArthur teacher.
