Harris Middle School student Edwin Calderon won the 2008 Water: A Living Lesson T-Shirt Design contest. This was a contest of the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) for students to design a t-shirt that would teach others about the importance of water. His winning logo will be on the t-shirts that are given to all of the attendees at the SAWS 2008 Summer Water Conference for Educators. Calderon will be awarded at a reception on July 17 and will receive a plaque with his t-shirt design and a gift basket.
