Harris Middle School students recently attended the third annual Model United Nations Simulation at Roosevelt High School (MUNSTR) on April 12. "Our students made us proud as they represented their countries to solve world problems such as terrorism, Avian Flu and climate changes in the world," said Peggy Clemons, principal. 

Harris students won at least one award for outstanding performance in each committee meeting. Best Delegates were, Jan Ross Piedad and Daniel Guerra. Outstanding delegates were Cody Holmes, Maya Grant, Amy Maydon and Staphany Joos. Harris Middle School Model UN took more awards than any other school represented at the simulation. "Congratulations to all the delegates who participated," said Clemons.
