Hardy Oak Elementary will honor grandparents on September 5, 2008 and invite them to class for engaging activities. Grandparents of kindergarten, first- and third-graders are invited from 8:15-9 a.m., and grandparents of second-, fourth- and fifth-graders are welcomed from 9:30-10:15 a.m. The celebration will honor grandparents and provide an opportunity for them to visit their grandchildren in the classrooms. Refreshments will also be served in the cafeteria (pastries & coffee) for grandparents to enjoy while on campus. Gift cards will be available for purchase from the library to use at the book fair.
