Welcome to the Facilities Maintenance and Support Department of the North East Independent School District. We are a proud team with one purpose...serving children! Our mission is to provide them with the best possible learning environment. As a service organization, we recognize that our success relies on our timely response, customer awareness, and quality workmanship.
The North East Independent School District is one of the most recognized K-12 Educational Organizations in the State of Texas. Part of the credit is due to the quality learning environment provided by the 500+ dedicated professionals that comprise the Facilities Maintenance & Support and Custodial Services Departments.
In order to have emergency assistance available AT ANY TIME, the Facilities Maintenance & Support Department has extended hours and stand by personnel from 6:00 am until 11:00 pm, Monday - Thursday and from 6:00 am until 4:00 pm on Friday. For a list of specific Maintenance shops and contact information for each Controller and Foreman, please see our Contact Information page. After 11:00 pm on weekdays (or after 4:00 p.m. on Friday) and during the weekends, contact the N.E.I.S.D. Police Department at 655-6859. They will dispatch the appropriate personnel. In observance of holidays, a Maintenance and Custodial holiday schedule is attached.
