Orchestra Students Going To State UIL
Congratulations to the following orchestra students who qualified for UIL State Solo/Ensemble Contest in May.  These students earned a first division on a solo or ensemble and played by memory:

Tina Behrens, Jasmine Dudley, Danielle Gonzaba, Sylvia Oh, Kristen Roberts, Rachel Roberts, Tiffany Rodriguez and Daniel Sanches-violins.

Viola-Priscilla Gaither and bassists Jack Hocott and Andrew Gaul

cellists- Kristin Bielling, Jared Bodnar, Katie Boyd, and Rachel Perrine.

Ensembles going to state are quartet: Alison Fletcher, Ryan Coppin, Priscilla Gaither and Katie Boyd

Quartet: Elizabeth Sakai, Carolyn Slade, Justine Delgado, Tess Oliver

Duos: Jackson Cummings and Gabriel Baker; Natalie Salzman and Alexandra Villalobos.

We congratulate these fine musicians who have worked diligently to polish their music.  We also applaud everyone who entered solo and ensemble, reaching to a higher level beyond the classroom.
