| Congratulations to the Lady Brahmas for a great 2004 campaign! They
tied for third in district, then won a special playoff match
against Judson to qualify for their 1st appearance in the UIL Playoffs
in several years. In the Bi-District Round, the Brahmas beat San
Marcos in straight games: 25-18, 25-16, and 25-18. In the Area
Round, MacArthur defeated Corpus Christi Carroll, also in straight
games: 25-21, 25-12, 25-16. Alas, in the Regional Quarter-final,
the Brahmas were ousted by nationally ranked Churchill in four games:
25-16, 21-25, 25-14, 18-25. |
