DIRECTOR'S SECRETARY
AGRISCIENCE MAGNET PROGRAM ACADEMY
MADISON HIGH SCHOOL

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Uses the Agriscience Magnet Program's email account for correspondence
Utilizes the mainframe computer for purchasing, receiving and budgeting
Resolves outstanding purchase orders monthly
Assists with maintenance and work orders
Coordinates meetings and activities for AMP
Maintain accurate data for student attendance, grades
Manages programs supplies budget, SAF and/or CAF accounts
Seeks out information pertaining to potential business partners
Coordinates equipment repair with Career and Technology office
Creates newsletter, brochures and letters to promote the interest of the program
Assists Director in maintaining web page for AMP
Organizes recruiting events to include the community and media
Assists the Director and the school's partners in the educational component of the program
Interacts with the NEISD staff, business and university people and the community, daily telephone contacts, e-mail and written communications
Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

HOURLY:
$14.49-$17.67 PAY GRADE: C7 WORK DAYS: 220
