MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree from a four year college or university Master's Degree a plus Five to ten years Physical Education classroom teaching experience Valid Texas Teacher Certificate with Certification in Physical Education Valid Texas Drivers License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with development and implementation of comprehensive Physical Education fitness assessment for all North East Independent School District Students Assists in establishing the program evaluation agenda for the school year Assists with the design, conducts and communicates the results of needs assessments, implementation, formative, summative and follow-up as applicable to District and school program evaluations Responsible for the activities and productivity of program evaluation, testing and assessment to achieve State, District and campus goals and objectives Assist with supervision and training of "Fitness Assessment Team" that travel to North East Independent School District campuses to evaluate students Serves as internal consultant to schools and other departments regarding program evaluation, testing and assessment technical issues Serves, as assigned liaison between the District and other external educational agencies regarding improvement opportunities and/or issues related to District/School performance and accountability Coordinates the integration of advanced technology into the evaluation and assessment of Physical Education activities Maintains an updated designed District Handbook of evaluation methods, models and procedures Assist in the review and updating of the District-wide Physical Education Assessment Program Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
SALARY:	$53,556-$65,713	PAY GRADE:	A3	WORK SCHEDULE:	Eleven Months
