MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree Valid Texas Teaching Certificate issued by the State Board of Education Valid Professional School Counselor Certificate issued by State Board of Education Minimum two (2) years teaching experience
MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, develops and implements a comprehensive, developmental program of guidance Counsels students individually and groups to assist their personal social educational and career development Teachers guidance curriculum lessons Consults with teachers, parents and school administrators to facilitate positive student development Guides students in educational and career planning Coordinates resources for student development Consults with teachers and campus administrators regarding guidance and advisement issues Assist in planning and evaluation of the guidance program Participates in the school's educational program in roles which utilize guidance and counseling knowledge and skills Pursues relevant professional development Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
SALARY:	EL - $48,710 - $59,767 MS - $51,516 - $63,209 HS - $52,791 - $64,774	PAY GRADE:	A3	WORK SCHEDULE:	EL - TEN MONTHS MS - ELEVEN MONTHS HS - ELEVEN MONTHS
