MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university or one to two years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience Certified Novell Administrator a plus Novell Certified NetWare Engineer or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer a plus A+ Service Technician a plus Valid Texas Driver License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises the educational and functional requirements of the support network solutions that will support the district uses Supervises the Network Services division Manages and implements a District wide VOIP system Supervises efficient repair, maintenance, upgrade and replacement of HUB sites within the District Prepares and presents oral/written presentations for internal/external groups Works closely with the Assistant Director of Technical Services in various projects as directed by Director Supervises the educational and functional requirements of the Microsoft solutions that will support the district uses Controls network related work orders Oversees requests for purchase of computer equipment and parts for repairs, upgrades, and maintenance Schedules and supervises the installation and configuration of large volumes of computer equipment Communicates with vendors to resolve problems Writes technical quotes and estimates for proposed repairs and upgrades for work to be performed by the Computer Service Center Responsible for performance appraisals and other employees Tests new hardware components and configuartions for possible adoption as District standard Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
SALARY:	$68,153-$81,622	PAY GRADE:	T7	WORK SCHEDULE:	Twelve Months
