MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Certified Novell Administrator Altiris Deployment Sever Certified Novell Certified NetWare Engineer or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer a plus A+ Service Technician a plus Valid Texas Driver License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises the Technical Services Department, which includes Computer Technicians, Lead Technician, Dispatcher, and Warehouseman Prepares and presents oral/written presentations for internal/external groups Develops specialized software applications and scripts used for user and Workstation Management, Controlled Resource Management, Online Testing and day to day operations Manages Web Server (one limited basis) and Online Testing Services (Proctor Caching and End User Planning and Support) Supervises the implementation of Zen features of imaging, tiered electronic distribution, policies, management and monitoring of Windows Desktops and Servers Controls computer related work orders Schedules and supervises the installation and configuration of large volumes of computer equipment Communicates with vendors to resolve problems Writes technical quotes and estimates for proposed repairs and upgrades for work to be performed by the Computer Service Center Responsible for performance appraisals and other employee related documentation Assists with selection and interview of prospective employees Presents excellent verbal, written and presentational skills Works closely with the Assistant Director of Network Services in various manners as directed by the Director Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
SALARY:	$68,153-$81,622	PAY GRADE:	T7	WORK SCHEDULE:	Twelve Months
