Our mission is to support campus personnel promoting student involvement, academic success and a community of life-long learners.

KIN was recognized as the Outstanding Afterschool Program in the state by the Texas Community Education Association.
Adult Education went from meeting zero performance measures two years ago to meeting nine measures out eleven in 2008 – 2009.
McKinney - Accomplishments (Other possible ones)
1. Increased District Attendance by .7% during past 18 months
2. Leaver audit resulting in improved data integrity and w/d procedures to further reduce drop outs
3. Premiere location for dispensing information to schools and community
4. Development of web application for discipline and attendance and DP reports for the campuses’ benefit
5. Approximately 1 out of every 10 students in the District were had a positive contact/experience as a result of the Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities programs (PALs, Mediation, Experiential learning, etc.)
6. McKinney and/or teen parenting students have won awards or scholarships from ACCD, Rey Feo, Best in Texas Career and Technology.
7. Other accomplishments by JROCT, FA, and Athletics.
Superintendents Trophy to include “Overall Corps of Cadets Health and Fitness Profile” and expand the number of academic test items concerning Health Education.
