Geometry TEKS

The sequence of topics listed may be modified slightly to fit with the specific needs of individual students, as each teacher deems appropriate.

First Semester	Second Semester
Reasoning	Right Triangles
Basic Terms and Properties	Area and Perimeter
Parallels and Perpendiculars in a Plane	Three Dimensional Drawings
Triangles	Circles
Quadrilaterals and Other Polygons	Formal Proofs

Transformations and Coordinate Geometry will be integrated throughout the curriculum.
Though proofing is taught all year, formal proofs will be tested second semester.
