Within a well-balanced
mathematics curriculum, the primary focal points at Grade 2 are comparing
and ordering whole numbers, applying addition and subtraction, and using
measurement processes.
Continuing Threads, all of which must be addressed maintained, and monitored throughout the year, are: addition and subtraction facts, statistics, money, and measurement (length, capacity, weight, time, and temperature).
