1. For information about Komm mit!, access to the HRW PASSPORT interactive newsletter, ordering information for the Interactive CD-ROMS, etc. go to Holt, Rinehart and Winston and click on World Languages.

2. We have developed internet activities to accompany Komm Mit! They can be accessed through our www.go.hrw.com website using key words. It is really a simple code - WKO (name of location). Example - WKO Brandenburg, WKO Schleswig-Holstein, etc. There are activities, including activitiy sheets that can be printed out for student use. All sites are monitored and updated. I have attached a pdf file of the key words. You will need acrobat reader to access it.

`Exercise Maker`

To those who've been using the Swarthmore interactive exercise makers

http://lang.swarthmore.edu/makers/index.htm, a word of caution:if you leave your

exercise stored on their server, make sure to give some thought to a unique name for

your exercise. If someone makes an exercise with the same name, it will overwrite

yours. Looking at their index, I found exercises with names like "Koffer" and "Reisen",

exactly the names I had considered using. It's best, as they point out their home page,

to download the page and store it on your own server. To those who haven't used the

exercise makers, check them out. They take a little more effort than Quia, but not much,

and they offer more varied types of exercises.
