Agriscience Magnet
Program
Madison High School
Agriscience Magnet Program prepares students for
agribusiness careers through a program that addresses the targeted occupations
of our region and offers courses that provide a direct career path for higher
education. AMP is open to all
students in NEISD. It offers career tracks in Animal Science, Environmental and
Natural Resources, Mechanized Agriculture, and Plant Science.
AMP is housed on a 20-acre site at James Madison High School, which includes the following: livestock project centers, gardens and pastures, classrooms, mechanics laboratory, meat processing laboratory, and a greenhouse. The magnet program also has one of Texas’ most progressive and active FFA chapters.
