The Garner Middle School National Junior Art Honor Society (NJAHS) helped create "The Yearling," a statue of the school's mascot. The JHAHS sponsor, Elizabeth Bashara, and the students worked with local artist Susan Montagna to complete the sculpture for more than a year. This is the first and only statue of the yearling mascot made for the school. "We are so proud of our incredibly talented students and their amazing work," said principal Donna Newman.
