Stone Oak gears up for Go Kids Challenge

Stone Oak Elementary students are looking forward to meeting the challenge of getting fit.

The Valero GoKids! Challenge is sponsored by the San Antonio Sports Foundation. Students will participate in this activity that kicks off on Feb. 16, 2010 during the their P.E. class. The program ends on Apr. 11, 2010 with a victory lap at the Alamodome.

During this challenge students are asked to exercise or be active for at least 30 minutes each day. They will be given a journal that they must complete and take with them to the Alamodome. Once they complete their victory lap they will receive a medal and t-shirt.
