ABOUT THE KIN STAFF

 

The Kids' Involvement Network Staff have the following qualifications for employment:

    • Meets all NEISD employment qualifications including criminal records check, reference check, and specific experience according to job description. Site Directors must be degreed or have equivalent experience.
    • Certified in Adult/Infant/Child CPR/First Aid and AED
    • Required training (24 hours for Assistants and 58 hours for Assistant Directors and Directors)
    • All employees receive training in the following areas:
      • Positive Discipline
      • Child Abuse Prevention and Reporting
      • Supervision
      • Developmental Stages
      • Age Appropriate Activities
      • Behavior Management Techniques
      • Transitions
      • Playground Safety
      • Academic Activities aligned  with TEKS and District Scope and Sequence
      • City/School Emergency Procedures
      • CHAMPS- NEISD district wide behavior management model
